We believe that our Child of Bones magickal potion anchors the power and presence of Mako Goddess, which may help us (amongst other things) to connect with the power of our ancestors. When working on ancestral clearings and family tree work.

Mako Woman
the tribal Goddess
of Sharks

Inspired by Mako Woman herself, this potion is for stalking ones own power,
which can lay trapped beneath fear. Fear, can act like a tyrant, holding our hidden power in the colossal depths of the self.

Mako Woman

• Ancestral knowledge, guidance and surrogate witnessing.
• Tribal roots, initiatory rights into self hood.
• Serious shadow aspect work.
• Bravery and courage in the face of fear.
• Reclaiming buried and hidden powers.
• Self-integration.

This potion may be carried on one when self-integration is a requirement, or initiatory themes or recurrent fears feature predominately in ones life script. For rites of self hood where overcoming fears will restore 'the vital self with inner power' feature strongly.

Example of connecting to Mako Woman and requesting her assistance:

"Mako Woman, please gift me the strength of spirit to journey to the depths of my fears and retrieve the blood wisdom. Mother be with me" (some people don’t consciously invoke this ancestral line type workings but nevertheless finds themselves face to face with it regardless. When cleaning up our own act we get called to benefit the ancestral lines from which we descend. Mako Woman in this circumstance can be an unsurpassable ally).

We practise 'feeding' our ancestors regularly, some say they like white foods - my crowd like most foods especially with strong liquors! we sprinkle Mako Woman potion over some of our ancestral food offerings and offer candles and fresh flowers too. They seem too LOVE a good feast and we enjoy putting on a good spread for them. Just like having the relatives round for a Sunday roast (but without the washing up).

Hail to the sacred ones who have gone before us xxx
