There are many deities that act as guardians at the gateway of change some are Gods, Tribal spirits and even Angels. We work with a lesser known Goddess at this gateway and her name is Pino Woman the Goddess of consecration, a beautiful energy full of grace and surrounded by the fine vibration of hummingbirds in flight.

Pino’s magick bestows to us a sacred blessing at the commencement or completion of any task, a phase, a relationship, a cycle, no matter how gruelling the event or how weary we are to the bones. This Goddess of the gateway is always present at the descent and ascent of our soul cycles. Her symbols are spirals initiating and honouring our seasonal ebb and flow. Pino’s sweet symbols are held in the whispering winds of change that penetrate us deeply on all levels. As a witness at each threshold of our life, this energy keeps our soul work ordered, initiated and rewarded. Pino’s presence marks significant change as she acts as spiritual midwife to the in-between times of our transitions. Holding us briefly in her arms much like a spiritual caress of consecration (which just means ‘to make sacred’) Pino sanctifies our return to her time and again. When we begin to map our life course we can empower our life as the marking of initiations and cycles is so lost in the modern world. Navigation of these cycles can keep us feeling more focused with a direction, even in the darkest of nights.

In honouring our personal ‘beginnings and endings’ we start to align to the sensation that the tides of our life are cyclic in nature. Our own life perspective can then become less about the ‘good stuff’ and the ‘bad stuff’ that happens to us and more about a sacred journey in everyday life. For some of us, life can’t all be about transcending the here and now; it might be more enriching for us to become here more fully adding a divine quality to our day to day experience. Pino Woman advocates and upholds that all of our life is sacred and when we understand that we can celebrate our entire journey, it can help us to stay in flow and harmony with the natural order of all things.
